Q. How many Roundtec  9000 Log Lathes are in use?
A. Presently there are over 300 Roundtec units in service worldwide, 12 in the US, two in Breckenridge.
Q. Where are Roundtec products manufactured?
A. Roundtec log lathes are built by Tommi Laine Trading Oy in Laitila Finland.
Q. How fast can I turn logs?
A. It is reasonable to expect 150-300 lineal feet of log per 8 hour shift.  A two man team is most successful.
Q. How much electrical power does the Roundtec require?
A.

220 volt 3-phase is required.  
Q. Can I use 220 volt single phase?
A. No.
Q. What is the horsepower of the electric motors?
A. Notching/Smoothing  20 hp., Coping 15hp., Hydraulics 5hp.
Q. How much does a Roundtec cost?
A. Base price for Roundtec Log Lathe is $56,900 - $76,000.00 USD with accessories FOB Breckenridge, CO.  A Home Builders Discount is available.
Q. Is anything else needed for me to begin production?
A. Aside from a level floor and power nothing else is needed to process logs. There are optional accessories and equipment available which can increase workflow and productivity. 
Q. What is the estimated delivery time from order?
A. Units not in stock expect 16 weeks from order
