Nordic Classic, Skate and Back Country Ski & Snowshoe Rentals are an additional fee.   Rentals are provided daily, for multiple days on a Punch Pass at a discounted rate or are for purchase.  Ask about our Upgrade program from our Retail Shop with clothing and accessories for your outing and for your growing family.  See the Rental Equipment price list.

Nordic or Cross Country Ski Lessons are taught 4 times daily for all ability levels in Private (1 person) and Private Group (1-8 persons from your group of friends) sessions lasting 1 hour and 15 mins, but additional hours may also be added.  We love to teach beginners to the sport and Never Ever Skiers.  We would like the opportunity to teach you effective skills and drills for easy and graceful gliding on snow.  If you can walk then we can likely teach you to ski and enjoy this sport and the health benefits associated with it.  It is a lifetime sport for all ages and it is not uncommon to see tiny tots to wise seniors skiing our trails everyday.  Nordic Ski Lessons are the easiest way to out-think your feet!  Learn right technique from the very beginning – double your fun and triple your progress.

One Nordic Ski Lesson is offered at an affordable price and will get you going after the first 1 ½ hour of trying.  Our on staff Nordic Instructors are professionals who have taken clinics, have trained on ski teams and/or been certified by Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA). Following the instruction you will have time to practice on the trail what you learn in your Nordic Ski Lesson. Take additional ski lessons as you progress — improvement comes quickly with patience, practice and guidance.

We would love to teach you and your kids to cross country ski and give them a lifetime of recreational opportunity. Often children start skiing at age two or younger-and by age six or seven many are on their own skiing with improved skill and balance.  The sport is superb for development of physique, coordination, stamina, agility, social skills and sense of accomplishment.  We also rent pulk sleds for little ones and these may be rented and pulled by a skiing or snowshoeing adult for all ski lesson and snowshoe adventures.
