The authentic Victorian mining town of Breckenridge is nestled between the magnificent Tenmile Range and Continental Divide, and is a perfect place to cross country ski.

Cross Country skiing 1 mile from downtown Breckenridge along free shuttle route. 32Km of cross country ski trails through spruce forest and open meadows and 16Km of snowshoeing on scenic nature trails. Breckenridge has a new skier bridge and two nordic skier tunnels for a continuous looped trail system with no road crossings. We have a newly expanded cross country skiing trail system on Peak 7 in the White River National Forest. We feature "Kathy's Viewpoint", a warming hut that is open all day, everyday. You can also ski to the Hallelujah Hut on your way to Kathy's Viewpoint cabin.
